sturdy, reliable, straight out of the box
I’ve had 2 pairs of the quest 4 in the last 5 years – they have taken me on near daily hikes, the 75km west coast trail, and through winter walks on the east coast. comfortable straight out of the box! never any blisters (which is why I love Salomon). Only reason for needing a second pair is the sole began to split where it connects to the shoe – the warranty replacement process was super easy. I can’t imagine a different boot for hiking long distances, technical terrain, or multi-day use.
